REVIEWS

“They call them graphic novels here, mangas in Japan and komiks in the Philippines. “Komikero Chronicles” is a documentary detailing the history of this intriguing art form, and how artists have been able to slip in politically and culturally revolutionary messages even in the face of, in some cases, dictatorship.”

G. Allen Johnson, San Francisco Chronicle
